Nuestro Day Spa - Local Donations

For the past two winters, Maria has been known to spend her Friday evening driving around with her daughter and husband giving out trays of Tim Horton’s coffee/Hot chocolate and donuts to homeless women and men in Surrey and occasionally in Vancouver. 

This 2011 has been a challenge with increasingly long hours as an entrepreneur so Maria has opted to donate to local charities instead of her well appreciated hand to hand donations and a few kind words. Last year NDS donated 7% of its net earnings to local charities through weekly contributions. The majority of the donations are to the Vancouver Food Bank. Maria is also known to support local charity craft fairs and fundraisers.
